Phase Sequence and Phase Failure Relays are electrical protection devices used to monitor the presence and correct order of phases in three-phase systems. These relays detect faults such as the loss of a phase (phase failure), reversal in the phase order (incorrect sequence), or unbalanced voltages, protecting motors and other sensitive equipment from damage.
