Data Cables

Data cables are used in computer networks to transmit data. The most common are UTP (unshielded) and SFTP (shielded) for use inside buildings. There are also outdoor solutions. These cables use (as a general rule) 4 pairs of copper conductors and a shield to ensure that interference is prevented. An important aspect to take into account is the transmission speed, which is defined by categories, the most common being Cat. 5 with transmission speeds of up to 100Mhz and 100Mbps, Cat. 5e and 6 up to 1 Gbps and C6a 100 Gbps and 500Mhz.
